One-foot glide on a curve, outside edge L&R
Skate around a circle in both directions using the outside edge of the inermost skate to glide, ie when turning clockwise, glide on the right skate and push from the left, and when turning anticlockwise, glide on the left skate, pushing with the right

Backward skating and a two foot glide
Use the skulling method to skate backwards and gain some speed, then glide backwards until you come to a stop

Skating forwards and turning to backwards, and vice versa
While skating forwards, bend your knees, and twist your upper body so one of your shoulders is leading. In one smooth movement, push up and raise your heels slightly so the weight is on the toes. Now quickly swivel your hips so both skates are travelling backwards. For the reverse, first bend your knees and twist your upper body, then push up again, only this time lift your TOES slightly so the weight is on the heels, and again quickly twist the hips so the skates are facing forwards again. Practice makes perfect! Posture is critical here, make sure you have that straight line through your head, shoulders and hips. If you lean forwards at all you will throw yourself off balance as you twist. Also make a point of keeping your head UP, don’t look down at your skates

Continuous forward chasses around a circle
Chasses are a simple dance step used to improve you balance and use of the outside edges. Whilst skating in a circle, gently lift the inside skate vertically off the ice, as if you have a piece of string attached to the toe and you are pulling it up. Try and keep the base of the skate flat, ie don’t let the toe or heel dip, and while you are lifting, keep this skate close to the skating leg. Now let your skating knee bend and let the skate ride out to side a little so you gain speed as your lifted skate comes back in contact with the ice. Repeat in the other direction with lifting the other foot.
